The race to greatness

Family knows best
Why make it difficult for myself
Hungry for self worth
Distance does not compliment the experience
You are who you are
No more time to waste the potential
The untouched once known as the protical son
I will not fall off like the sunrise and you can not see the moon
Living on stubborn terms, I am the one they call the buffoon
Spoken nothing but truth
Looking forward to self discovery
Without the journey
Without the hurdles
A lifestyle I slowly became equipped for
Not knowing this was a turn that could leave me never looking back
Grateful for these god given ears
For I have never been one to totally disregard
But I won't anymore
I want to feel what this greatness really means
